Mozilla has officially announced that the first beta release in the Firefox 20.x branch is now available for download.
The new Firefox 20.0 Beta 1 for Linux comes with some interesting features and new updates.
Highlights of Mozilla Firefox 20.0 Beta 1:
• Per-window Private Browsing has been implemented; • A new download experience has been integrated; • A ability to close hanging plugins, without the browser hanging, has been added; • Firefox will offer to reset the Awesomebar search provider, if it has been changed by third-party software or through about:config; • Continued performance improvements around common browser tasks (page loads, downloads, shutdown, etc.) have been done; • The Unity plugin is now displayed in HiDPI mode.
