Mozilla has already prepared a new minor version for Firefox, bringing the build number to 20.0.1. The purpose of this release is to deliver a couple of fixes, one of them for the unresponsive Awesome Bar issue.

Multiple users reported that after migrating to Firefox 20, they experienced a non-working address bar and in some cases the search bar also became unusable.

The second bug affected a much smaller amount of users as it prevented SPNEGO mechanism from working properly.

Both fixes are part of the Firefox 21 second beta, which is already available for download.

An unofficial release for Firefox 20.0.1 is expected to emerge today on Mozilla’s FTP server.

[UPDATE: April, 11]: Firefox 20.0.1 is currently available for download and will reach the users via the automatic update mechanism starting today. You can check the list of bugs fixed on this page.
