Today, Mozilla rolled out an update for Firefox. The new minor revision is available for all supported platforms (Windows, Mac and Linux), but it addresses only one issue that occurred on Windows 8 only.

It addresses only one issue that occurred on machines equipped with certain AMD graphics cards.

According to the release notes, users running Firefox on Windows 8 and with an unspecified model of Radeon HD graphics cards, would experience stability issues with the browser.

The build is not available for operating systems other than Windows 8. As such, checking for updates on Windows 7, Mac or Linux does not pipe in the update.

However, if you check for updates on Microsoft’s latest OS, the update will occur and the only step to getting it applied is restarting Firefox.
