Firefox 17.0.1 Officially Lands in Ubuntu

Canonical announced a few hours ago, December 3, in a security notice, that they updated the default web browser in all their supported Ubuntu operating systems to Mozilla Firefox 17.0.1.

Mozilla Firefox 17.0.1 is now available for all supported Ubuntu platforms, including Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal), Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin), Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) and Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx).

All users are urged to upgrade to the new version as soon as possible, using the built-in Update Manager tool.
