With today's updates, Canonical upgraded the default web browser in all its supported Ubuntu operating systems to Mozilla Firefox 13.0.

The Firefox 13 web browser was officially released yesterday, June 5th, bringing a revamped interface and lots of other nice features, such as Speed Dial in the new tab page, revamped home page allowing quick access to settings, history, bookmarks, sessions, add-on, downloads and sync, faster browsing, faster startup, smooth scrolling enabled by default, better Page Inspector, Scratchpad, Style Editor, Style Inspector, and HTML panel, column-fill CSS property support, support for Set objects and ECMAScript 6 Map, support for CSS3 background-position property extended syntax, support for: invalid pseudo-class, support for CSS turn <angle> unit.

All Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, Ubuntu 11.10, Ubuntu 11.04, and Ubuntu 10.04 LTS users can update their Firefox web browser to version 13.0 right now, by using the Update Manager software.
