Mozilla’s progress on Firefox progress right on schedule

As scheduled, Mozilla’s released today a new build, the fourth, for the beta version of Firefox 12, which should become stable on April 24.

According to the release plan, there should be two more public builds for this beta. One should pop up on April 13 (that’s also a Friday), when the mainline code freeze also takes place. The second, beta 6, is scheduled for April 18 (release sign-off).

Between the aforementioned builds, the development team will roll out an ESR (Extended Support Release) nightly candidate, for beta testing.

Although some very annoying issues have been eliminated, the development team still has some bugs to squash. Among these there is one that causes the bookmarks toolbar to be empty on start.
