With Firefox 10 out the door and Firefox 12 already in the Aurora channel, Firefox 11 was moved up to the Beta channel. Firefox 11 comes with several new features so far, though the emphasis is on developers rather than regular users.

Firefox 11 Beta adds Add-ons to the list of settings and data that can be synced to the cloud and across computers. Users will also be able to switch from Google Chrome more easily since support for it has been added to the Migration Tool.

Developers will be able to show off the new 3D View in Page Inspector which, besides looking very impressive, makes it easier to understand heavy pages and spot layout errors.

The Style Editor has also been updated, it now allows devs to edit the CSS properties and even add new ones and see the changes live. Finally, support for the SPDY protocol has been added, after a delay.
