Several bugs still remain to be fixed in future versions

The official release notes were not available at the moment we wrote about the availability of the Firefox 10 binaries on their servers. Now they're out. Overall, there are no surprises, but apart from introducing new features the developer also solved a set of issues.

However, some of the bugs have not been eliminated, but the development team knows about them and works on the fixes. For instance, starting Firefox using a locked profile will cause the browser to crash.

Also, some of the Firefox users experience slow scrolling in the main Gmail window and some vertical scrolling fails with some synaptic touch pads. On the same note, text input and scrolling may be jerky under certain conditions.

One bug still available in Firefox 10, but already solved in Firefox 11, refers to browser notifications, which may not work properly with Growl 1.3 or later. On some Mac hardware Silverlight videos may not play.
