Perfect for little girls

Firefly has just brought out a new mobile phone especially designed for children. This one looks just as colorful and childish that you'd expect for this target, although the company has recently surprised us with a more evolved handset.

Firefly has gone back to the basics, looking to perfectly suit once again the market that it is targeting. Children make just as good mobile phone users nowadays. Parents are willing to equip their offspring with such devices in order to keep track at all times of their whereabouts and for easily contacting them.

On the other hand, a cellular should be resistant enough to withstand strong hits that children might cause while playing and even errors in handling. The new Firefly glowPhone R100 looks like the perfect one for little girls, with a bright and vivid color, as well as transparent case. It looks just like a toy, a bit fragile, but proves to be made of strong plastic that will resist strong impacts and scratches too.

This mobile phone has been designed with the specific intention of making calls alone and texting and pretty much nothing else, as it targets very small children. It does not have Bluetooth, but packs a headset port where the kid can plug in the accessory.

Firefly glowPhone R100 also comes equipped with some useful features. The handset has a speakerphone, which will prove to be highly useful for carrying on conversations under any circumstances. The phone also has some shortcut keys called the Mom Call key and Dad Call key that parents can use for setting pre-programmed numbers for quick dialing.

Although it is aimed especially towards children, this phone has only a few games included. Firefly glowPhone R100 has just been approved by FCC, which means that it will soon hit the market. The producer has made no specifications on the date or price that this handset will come at.
