The stable version for Firebug 1.9.2 is scheduled for release in a couple of weeks, but until then the developer rolled out the first beta. Besides extending the compatibility with Firefox to version 13 of the browser, it repairs several problems that have already been tested with Firebug 1.10.

In Firebug 1.9.2 beta, editing element style from computed style no longer remains without effect and the “Enable JavaScript and Refresh” option works. Also, “Break On This Error” choice is no longer missing from the context menu.

Furthermore, Display of Style side panel should no longer fail for invalid character in string and keyboard zoom requests in the web browser (Ctrl+0) should no longer be intercepted by Firebug.
