Firebug has been updated today to version 1.11.3. The fresh release is compatible with Mozilla Firefox 17 through 22 and repairs a set of 14 problems.

The list of modifications also includes an improvement that touches on the Menu & Toolbar component. It refers to support for submenus.

Among the issues addressed are XHR messages being different in the Net and Console panels, the failure to display the content of a CSS file in the CSS panel, after reload, and the high number of line breaks present in the text copied from the console.

The developer updated the extension in order to use the new Private Browsing APIs.

Another issue eliminated in this revision refers to CSS panel’s inability to display @page rule in a stylesheet. On the same note, the Location Menu should no longer disappear from the CSS panel when switching between the Script panel and back.
