Rugged cameras seem to crop up periodically, so we aren't all that shocked to see Fujiflim introducing a new one.
Dubbed FinePix XP170, the handheld product shown in the video above uses a 14-megapixel CMOS sensor and a 5x zoom lens.
It can shoot Full HD video (1080p) and, though the resolution will have to decrease to 320 x 240 pixels, 240 fps speeds too.
What's more, as it has become fairly common, sharing photos online is possible as long as a Wi-Fi connection exists.
Nevertheless, what really takes the cake is the rugged construction, with a rubberized lug and completely sealed case that can handle water depths of up to 10 meters, temperatures of -10 degrees Celsius and two meter drops. Probably not all three at once though.
Fujifilm FinePix XP170 will start selling in June, for $280 / 215 Euro. Go here for more details.
