At the moment, 7.8-inch and 8-inch tablets are the main focus for most device manufacturers, but some slate producers have taken up the task of building more atypical models.

It's the case of new Fine9 Glory tablet that features an unusual 9-inch IPS screen with 1920 x 1280 pixel resolution, says PadNews. The device draws power from a Rockchip RK3188 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. Android 4.2 is the operating system of choice here.

Fine9 Glory also brings two cameras (5MP on the back and 2MP in front), USB 2.0, HDMI and TF card slot. Like with most tablets coming out of white-box vendors, customers can place phone calls with the Glory. Those interested can opt for the 16GB or 32GB versions.

The device is supposed to be compatible with 4G LTE connectivity and is very light and easy to carry around being just 486 g / 1.07 lbs. Price availability is not known at the moment.
