Google Checkout is a service provided by Google that allows users to make shopping directly on the Internet, from
the Google's website, with a powerful access to merchants from all over the world. As I said before, it seems like the company wants to make Google Checkout one of the most popular services on the Internet market because the search giants update it periodically, adding more and more features.
Today, Google announced that Google Checkout has been improved again, with a feature that will enable its users to find out the most popular products on the service. The new add-on will be included in Google start page and will display the first five most popular products.
"Wondering what people are buying with Google Checkout? You can now view most popular products through our personalized homepage gadget. The gadget is an easy way to learn about special deals on items, get ideas for holiday gifts, and see what's popular. Trying it out is easy.
The list is updated each day so you can stay on top of trends and the latest deals. The gadget also provides a handy shortcut for searching products sold by Google Checkout merchants," Jonathan Berger, Product Manager for Buyer Experience, said.
If you want to test the new feature added to the Google Checkout service your must have a Google account and a Google start page. Then, you should visit
this link and click on the "Add It Now" button displayed on the website. This action should redirect you to the Google start page that will include the new gadget with the most popular five products. If you're interested in how the new function looks, you can view the picture in this article that was captured by me today, after I added the gadget on my Google start page.
