Leave it to Joan Rivers to take grudges beyond the grave. The acid-tongued comedienne and actress was known for always speaking her mind and actually made a trademark out of her straightforward style that wasn't always comfortable for people around her.

The Sydney Morning Herald claims that Joan Rivers, who passed away last week, made careful preparations for her funeral and actually had a list drawn up of the people she didn't want to come at her funeral. Talk about a diss beyond the grave!

Michelle Obama, Adele and Chelsea Handler were not welcome at the funeral

Among those featured on the list were Michelle Obama, whom she dubbed “a tranny,” singer Adele because she was “fat” and talk show host Chelsea Handler because she was a “drunk” and a “[explicit].”

As you can see, Joan had some very strong opinions in her life and she wasn't going to let a small thing as death come between her and her lifetime feuds. She is among the very few people out there brave enough to call things as she saw them and she had no trouble continuing her tradition after death.

Joan wanted a red carpet funeral, a “true Hollywood” event

Joan also left very specific information regarding her own funeral. In her 2012 book “I hate Everyone … Starting With Me,” Rivers said “When I die (and yes, Melissa, that day will come; and yes, Melissa, everything's in your name), I want my funeral to be a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action ... I want Craft services, I want paparazzi and I want publicists making a scene!”

“I want it to be Hollywood all the way. I don't want some rabbi rambling on; I want Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents. I don't want a eulogy; I want Bobby Vinton to pick up my head and sing ‘Mr. Lonely.’ I want to look gorgeous, better dead than I do alive. I want to be buried in a Valentino gown and I want Harry Winston to make me a toe tag. And I want a wind machine so that even in the casket my hair is blowing just like Beyonce's,” she went on.

Her family didn't exactly fulfill her every wish, but they did give her the red carpet affair she wanted. It was indeed a star-studded affair, with many celebrities coming in to pay their respects to the lady of comedy.

Joan passed away on September 4 at the age of 81, after she went into cardiac arrest during a simply endoscopy procedure on her vocal chords. The autopsy has failed to reveal an immediate cause of death but more and more people are saying that the death was an accident since Rivers was issued with a clean bill of health just prior the operation.
