With EURO 2012 in full swing, everyone's got an opinion about the teams, the players, the referees, the coaches, the stadiums, everything and everyone. If you're a football fan, you're probably keeping up with the official commentary, what the experts say and so on.

But why trust the experts to tell you what's what when you can do one better, go on Twitter. Granted, trying to figure out what the popular sentiment on the site is, about a particular player for example, is hard, if only because there's probably no universal such thing.

Which is where BrandWatch comes in. It's got a very interesting app that scours Twitter and uncovers any tweet related to England's team in the championship. There's a similar app for Germany.

All the players are accounted for and you can see whether the comments are positive or negative about them and who are the most talked about.
