'CSI' and 'Entourage' was definitely not enough for Kevin Federline to prove that he had the skills to make it as a serious actor, so he decided to do something more real than a television series. Sunday night, the rapper with acting tendencies made his debut at a World Wrestling Entertainment event... and got body slammed. Unfortunately, it was just a show...
As the rapper made his entrance into the L.A's Staples Center, walking in that cool way that so well characterizes him, he was greeted by loud boos coming from the audience. His part was the villain one and, just like in 'CSI', he got to play himself: an obnoxious wannabe rapper who messes with the wrong people.
Kevin was introduced as the 'A-list friend' of Johnny Nitro and his entrance speech, addressed to the crowd, went something like this: 'Same people who are booin' me buy my picture on the cover of magazine. Y'all want to hear me rap? [more boos] Well, you're going to have to wait until my record drops in October'.
As he was speaking, the WWE champion John Cena came in and K-Fed started telling him what he would do to him if he were to get angry. Cena fought back saying 'The album is called "Playing With Fire"? They should call it "The Biggest Scumbag on Earth"', in wrestling style. Afterwards, he just made a subtle move towards the rapper, as if to shake his hand, grabbed and lifted him in the air and then dropped him to the mat in a very resounding body slam.
Federline needed the help of two referees to get up and stop wriggling on the floor. He was escorted with great difficulty towards the exit but, by the time filming for the event ended, he was just fine and complained of back pains no more. Safe to say, no K-Feds were hurt during the shoot.
