The player is already being marketed

This could be the ugliest waterproof digital video player ever released. It's yellow, it's bulkier than ever and it looks like one funky walkie talkie used in the 80s. But if you need to watch videos while being underwater and couldn't care less about the design, then this might actually be your only affordable option. The best thing with this ugly fellow is that you can dive up to 3 meters underwater and still keep on playing your favorite AMV videos, meaning it also comes with a conversion software included. I wonder what happens if you go deeper!

Regarding its capabilities, I suppose you expect to be surprised. Well, don't, as it comes with only 1GB of storage capacity, which is pretty humble. I mean, they could at least have added some cool features if a decent design lacks anyway. However, it can read WMAs, MPEGs, JPEGs, which is not bad, it can record data in WAV file formats and it sports an earphone jack of 3.5mm, and an output of earphones of 2x5mW(32Ohms).

Moreover, it offers multi language support in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Denmark, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Czech. The player is powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and sports the following dimensions: 105x50x22mm (LxWxD); it is said to come with a pair of waterproof earphones.

The battery is said to last up to 6 hours of continuous playback after only 3 hours of battery recharging. It's not like you're going to spend 6 hours underwater!

Wait till you see this. The Chinavision player has a 1.8 inch screen that can only show off videos at a resolution of 128 x 128 and a rate of 15 fps. So, you'll need some eagle eyes to watch your favorite "Girls Gone Wild" series under water, that's if your nerves can handle the trouble.

The conclusion: the 80 bucks price tag could cover some of its faults...Hopefully!
