Finally, Biostar Releases Drivers for Their Only X79 Motherboard

After around a month worth of waiting, Biostar has finally managed to release the drivers for their (so far) only X79/ socket LGA2011 motherboard, codenamed TPower X79.

Being a new motherboard, it naturally comes loaded with nifty features that promise a lot of fun. For example, the quad-channel memory support with a maximum of 32GB DDR3 capacity and being able to withstand speeds of up to 2400 Mhz when overclocked.

Triple PCIe 3.0 ports complement the 4 SATA 6GB/s ones, the eSATA connector, and the generous 6 USB 3.0 array. On the video side, the TPower X79 comes with 4-way AMD CrossFireX  and 3-way Nvidia SLI support.

Audio is ensured by the ALC898 7.1-channel Realtek chip; a more exquisite choice could have been better, but we figure this board doesn't aim for the top of the list. THX TruStudio PRO and other HD audio technologies are available, as well as the UEFI GUI BIOS.
