This is not good news, but whoever first invented the expression 'blessing in disguise" can rest peaceful now - finally, something happened that defines that kind of situation perfectly. Amy Wino's junkie hubby, Blake Fielder Civil was arrested and led away by police officers over an alleged £200,000 trial-fixing plot last night in London. The scene is described by witnesses as having been dramatic: as Blake was led away, the singer kissed and hugged him, sobbing: "Baby, I love you. Baby, I'll be fine. I'll be fine, baby I love you".
He was handcuffed by police and led away from an east London flat last night as Winehouse looked on and begged: "I want to go with him". Fielder-Civil was arrested over charges of a conspiracy to pervert justice through his involvement with a £200,000 plot to fix a trial. Blake, along with his friend Michael Brown, have both been accused of brutally assaulting barman James King, which they allegedly tried to bribe and offered him £200,000 in a bid to make him change his police statement. The bad (or good, depends how you look at it) news is that if 25-year-old Blake is convicted of conspiracy to pervert justice, he could receive a life sentence. That definitely can't be great news for the already troubled singer, though, who ditched rehab on several occasions on account of her husband.

Blake's mother, Georgette, said: "Amy is totally distraught. She's in pieces and rang me in a panic. She's too upset to talk right now, but we all need to be together. I'm on my way to see her now". A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "A thorough investigation is being carried out into claims of conspiracy to pervert justice in connection with a trial. Three men have been arrested and are being questioned, and we are expecting to make further arrests". Well, I have a feeling that zombie-looking crack-head that Amy calls husband is totally screwed this time - so I think the best thing to do would be to get used to the thought of him not being around for a nice long time. Maybe someone can force Amy into rehab while he's away. Quick, any thoughts?
