One of the hottest contenders in next year’s Oscars race is, without a doubt, “Killing Them Softly” from director Andrew Dominik and actor Brad Pitt. Below is the final trailer for it, just in case you’re wondering what it’s all about.

This isn’t a regular mobster movie and this is clear from the trailer, if you know where to look closely.

More than a mobster film, it’s a social commentary on relevant, current issues, including America’s war on drugs and guns – in fact, this is one of the aspects that has been emphasized a lot since the film premiered at various festivals.

“Killing Them Softly” stars Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini and Ray Liotta, and will be out in theaters this month. If you’re to believe critics, you really shouldn’t miss it, but do check out the final trailer if you don’t believe them.
