Final Milestone for Phoronix Test Suite 4.2 Is Now Available for Testing

The third and final milestone release of the Phoronix Test Suite 4.2 (Randaberg) has been announced by Michael Larabel.

Phoronix Test Suite 4.2 Milestone 3 brings the following changes:

• Null times for estimated run-time are no longer reported;
• Support for determining the build configuration on LLVM 3.2, where llvm-ld is llvm-link, has been added;
• Hard fall-back support for detecting the xf86-video-modesetting driver usage has been added;
• Blanking of the terminal screen when running tests has been disabled.

The final version of the Phoronix Test Suite 4.2 app is expected to arrive sometime in November or December.
