The development team at BioWare announces that the final piece of single-player-focused downloadable content for Mass Effect 3 is called Citadel and will allow players to investigate and then defeat a vast conspiracy against Commander Shepard.

The action will take place on the Citadel and gamers will be able to explore new areas, including top secret Council Archives, while using a number of squad mates taken from the first and second game in the series.

The DLC also introduces the Silver Coat Casino, the Armax Combat Arena and new unique living quarter of the Citadel.

BioWare states, “With unique content and cinematics featuring your friends and romance interests in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years and rekindle romances.”

Citadel will be delivered on March 5 worldwide on the PS3, the PC and the Xbox 360, with a price of 14.99 dollars or Euro.
