The development team at Square Enix is launching more footage taken from the alpha stage of the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, designed to show fans how combat section of the MMO will play out in the rebooted game.
Gamers in the video attached to this blog are fighting through the Tam-Tara Deepcroft, an instanced dungeon, using a full complement of characters and skills.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is expected to arrive on the PC and the PlayStation 3 from Sony at some point during 2013.
The
MMO is designed to eliminate all the problems that affected its initial incarnation and gamers will be able to enjoy it using a monthly subscription business model.
Square Enix executives have indicated that it’s unlikely that the publisher can survive another MMO launch disaster.
