See which edition of the Japanese RPG is the superior one

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is getting ready to be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 early next year, so a brand new video comparison between the two versions of the Japanese role-playing game has just appeared on the web.

While Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set to appear in North America and Europe at the end of January and beginning of February, the game has already been released in Japan.

As such, a blog from that country has already put up a video comparison between the two versions of Square Enix’s JRPG, in order to see which is the superior one.

As you can see in the video above, however, the differences in quality are negligible, although you can see, thanks to the graphs below the actual gameplay footage, that the PS3 edition of the game has a slightly sharper framerate than the Xbox 360 one.

Either way, it seems that Square Enix has made sure that both platforms will deliver a great role-playing experience. Which one will you get when Final Fantasy XIII-2 is released on January 31, in North America, and February 3, in Europe?
