Final Fantasy XIII-2 Gets New Japanese Commercial

Publisher Square Enix has released another commercial for Final Fantasy XIII-2, which shows just a little bit more footage taking from inside the game.

The company has also offered a little more information on the game mechanics, including how interactions will work with the fan favorite Chocobos.

Players will be able to speak with the creatures in Final Fantasy XIII-2 and ride around on them in order to avoid all combat encounters.

There are also some locations that can be only accessed when the player is on the back of Chocobo.

Another new feature for Final Fantasy XIII-2 is called Blood Damage and means that players will get a special combat handicap, which will see their Hit Point pool reduced permanently until they get a special item that allows them to cure the condition.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 arrives on December 15 in Japan and one and a half months later in the rest of the world.
