It seems that the upcoming high-definition remakes of both Final Fantasy X and the X-2 expansion will include downloadable content on launch, according to a source that has inside information from publisher Square Enix.

According to VGLeaks, the additional content for the game includes:

Final Fantasy X International Additions – 4.99 dollars Final Fantasy X-2 International Additions – 4.99 dollars Final Fantasy X-2 Last Mission – 2.99 dollars and the player needs to have bought Final Fantasy X-2 International Additions

The list and prices are only linked to the American market.

Square Enix apparently wants to keep the same launch structure for the game that was used when the original version was out.

It’s unclear whether the DLC will also be delivered on the PlayStation Vita handheld, or whether only home console players will be able to enjoy the full experience.
