Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster will launch on March 18, 2014, in North America, and on March 21, 2014, in Europe and PAL territories, simultaneously for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions.

Additional information regarding the titles has been made public in the comments section of yesterday's official PlayStation Blog announcement.

The physical edition of the PlayStation 3 version will feature both games on one disk, while the physical edition of the PlayStation Vita version will only feature a Final Fantasy X cartridge and an FFX-2 voucher packed in for the digital version of the game.

Additionally, the trophies for Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster will be combined from both iterations. While each title has its own trophy set, syncing with the server once they are earned on the PS3 will also award them on the PS Vita, and vice versa.

The sizes of the revamped editions of FFX/X2 have also been published in the comments.

The PlayStation 3 PSN download will weigh in at 24.1 GB, while the PlayStation Vita PSN digital editions of FFX and FFX-2 will have a combined size of 7 GB. The standalone FFX-2 download for the physical edition of the PS Vita FFX release will be around 3.5 GB big.

The two remastered software products will not be available separately on either platform.

Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster is scheduled to come out in March for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, featuring a standard retail price of $40 / €40.

The Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster Collector's Edition will only be available exclusively on the Square Enix Online Store, going for $80 / €58, while stocks last.
