Getting through the Cloister of Trials
Move to the back of the first area and examine the glyph on the wall. It will help open a new path. Another glyph will glow on the right side of the room. Examine it to reveal a secret chamber. Descend the stairs to the small overhang on the wall. Examine it for a short explanation on the spheres, then obtain the Glyph Sphere.
Move to the door at the bottom of the stairs. Insert the glyph sphere to open it. Take the glyph sphere from the opened door panel and go to the next sphere recess. Insert the glyph sphere to open a secret room with a Destruction Sphere. Leave it for now. Enter the next area. Look at the runes across from the pedestal to find a glyph. Examine the glyph to unlock a hidden chamber. Enter the chamber and remove the Besaid Sphere. Insert the Besaid Sphere into the pedestal. This will reveal another chamber. Tidus will push the pedestal inside.
Leave the pedestal and return to the Destruction Sphere. Place it in the slot where you found the Beasaid Sphere. This will unlock a hidden chamber on the far side of the Cloister. Go to the new opening in the wall. Take the Rod Of Wisdom from the treasure chest. Go back to the pedestal and push it into the room until it locks into place then sinks into the floor.
