After launching the remastered edition of Final Fantasy VII on the PC platform last year, Square Enix has now put the cult classic game on Steam, allowing users of the service to easily buy, download, and play the JRPG.

Final Fantasy VII is one of the best Japanese role-playing games of all time, and millions of fans have kept on asking Square Enix to remaster it in high definition and launch it for current platforms.

While that isn't happening anytime soon, the company did re-release the game for the PC last year.

Now, after quite a few complications due to the confusing Square Enix online service that's bundled with the new title, Final Fantasy VII has been released on the popular Steam service.

Sadly, the online systems are still present, and a Square Enix account is needed before running the game.
