Oh boy, oh boy! 3 days left till Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core is released in Japan and I'm sure most of you will play the game in its Asian language version, as the wait has been a long one. In the meantime, we'll check out the game's intro and some of its cutscenes, as they've just been released by the producers. Cloud's partner, Zack is up to his old tricks, battling what appear to be a couple of Shinra soldiers, as you'll notice by watching the game's intro.

The title's FMVs feature the same graphics we've drooled on in Advent Children, if not better and you'll see Zack flying and wielding his sword just like Cloud did in the last FF VII movie. The other cutscenes released online tell us a pretty neat story, but in case you're a fan who doesn't need spoilers, wait for the full game.

Sephiroth also makes an interesting appearance, a younger version of Cloud's Arch-nemesis, a calmer and more friendly one, if non-violent is "friendly" enough for you. There's even a cinematic sequence featuring Aerith or Aeris, or Cloud's dead soulmate, as we know her from Final Fantasy VII, the original game. Here she is, featured in one of the game's cutscenes as splendid as ever:

Zack uses the same sword we've seen in action in FF VII and Advent Children, unless Mister Strife created some replicas of it. In case you're a hardcore fan of the original title, you'll surely enjoy the fact that Square-Enix created an intro for Crisis Core, that's similar to the one from Final Fantasy VII. Well, at least that train traveling through Midgar is... Enough with the chat and let's enjoy Crisis Core's quality intro cutscene, as we're dealing with pure Square-Enix art for the following 3 minutes:
