One of the most popular games of all time, Final Fantasy VII, is getting ready to make a comeback on the PC via Steam, at least according to a leaked listing from Square Enix’s website.

Ever since it originally came out on the PlayStation 1, Final Fantasy VII has become a benchmark in terms of role-playing experience and millions of fans have been clamoring for a re-release onto current platforms.

While Square Enix has been adamant about not remaking the game, the company is apparently getting ready to release a new edition of its PC version, via the Steam digital distribution platform.

According to a now deleted listing on Square Enix’s website, via Eurogamer, the game will have a special “Character Booster” option that lets players who are struggling with a particular section of the game instantly restore the HP, MP, and Gil levels of their characters.

What’s more, the game – which costs £7.99/€9.99/$9.99 – will support 36 Steam Achievements and the Steam Cloud feature.

As of yet, Square Enix hasn’t commented on the leaked listing.
