Good news for the Final Fantasy fans! No, it's not yet another game in the series, but if you're a die-hard FF fan and collector you'll surely be happy to find out that Square-Enix has just opened an online store in the US.

The Square Enix Official Online Merchandise Store will allow fanatic gamers to buy any type of collectibles, ranging from action figures to T-Shirts, posters, jewelry and all the stuff the average FF fan can afford. I feel that I've been forgetting the rest of Square Enix's beautiful games, mentioning only Final Fantasy till now. Don't worry Kingdom Hearts fans, as there are lots of collectibles available for you too, as well as for the gamers that loved Dragon Quest or Valkyrie Profile.

In case the site is down or experiencing some problems, you should know that it's because of the fans' rush to be the first to buy Cloud Strife action figures or Squall's pendant. Since Final Fantasy is one of the longest running game series in the world, it would be a shame not to offer the fans FF-related collectibles, feeding their geeky hobbies. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of those fans as well and I'm one step away from becoming a Final Fantasy collector, but I'm more fond of collecting soundtracks than clothes, action figures or jewelry.

Will we see a soundtrack store soon? I have to say that the music in most of Square Enix's games is almost 40% of whole gaming experience, fitting the action sequences or cutscenes perfectly. Since we've seen concerts that featured the soundtracks of famous games like Konami's Metal Gear Solid or even Final Fantasy, why shouldn't the fans in the audience get something to listen to in their spare time? Till we get to buy a couple of OST CD-s, we'll be just fine with some action figures purchased from the new online store.
