As Apple announced FCP X 10.0.3 earlier today, the Mac App Store was still featuring the old 10.0.2 version. Apple has now updated the video editing program on its digital distribution venue, and the official changelog is now available.

According to the release notes, the first and most important update is “Multicam editing with automatic sync and support for mixed formats, mixed frame rates, and up to 64 camera angles.”

Video professionals now have advanced chroma keying with controls for color sampling and edge quality, and media relink for manual reconnect of projects and Events to new media.

Users can now import and edit layered Photoshop graphics and they can use XML 1.1 with support for primary color grades, effect parameters, and audio keyframes.

Last, but not least, a beta version of broadcast monitoring is included in FCP X 10.0.3 with support for third-party PCIe and Thunderbolt devices.
