Filmmaker John Zieglar is aiming to bring new information to light in the child abuse case against former football coach Jerry Sandusky.

As written earlier, Zieglar made an appearance on The Today Show and spoke about his upcoming documentary, “Framing Paterno.” He aimed to convince the public that his boss Joe Paterno was innocent and was not aware of the abuse.

Zieglar says that he has spoken to “Victim 2” in the case as part of his efforts to clear Joe Paterno's name.

He could not give out info on the victim's name, but did mention that he was involved in the shower incident in which a witness described hearing noises reminiscent of intercourse.

“That would have been the last thing I would have thought about,” Sandusky said as part of a fragment of the movie which was revealed in the TBV interview.

Zieglar has Sandusky himself on tape claiming that Paterno is a collateral victim of the scandal. He would not have covered up for him if he believed he was a child abuser, Sandusky added.

“If he absolutely thought I was, I'd say no. [...] If he had a suspicion, I don't know the answer to that,” he says.
