The first release candidate for FileZilla Client 3.7.1 has rolled out with a short list of changes. It implements a new command-line option and fixes a couple of issues.

The only new thing present in this revision is the possibility to specify the initial local directory from the command line interface.

As far as fixes go, the developer did away with a crash that occurred on Mac systems when the user would connect through FTP (file transfer protocol) over TLS (transport layer security) protocol. Also repaired is a glitch that caused an unusual behavior with file lists.

Provided the small amount of issues addressed and the low number of fresh features users should expect the stable version of the client to emerge in a relatively short amount of time.

FileZilla Client is available for download for WindowsMac and Linux.
