The first beta for FileZilla 3.6 has been released over the weekend, carrying new features as well as repairs and minor changes.

Among the new stuff there is the possibility to auto-scroll file lists when dragging an item near the top or bottom and ability to create empty files from the remote file list context menu.

It also introduces support for legacy servers that send directory listings in EBCDIC (Extended Binary Coded Decimal Interchange Code).

When using the application for the first time, a dialog will pop up asking if you want to save passwords when using Quickconnect bar for the first time.

Additional modifications consist in FTP proxies now working with IPv6 addresses as proxy, handling expired TLS sessions when trying to use said session again.
