There aren’t too many new features available in the latest version of FileZilla client. Bug fixes, on the other hand, are the dominating part on the list of changes.
The only new thing available in
FileZilla 3.5.3 is a keyboard shortcut, Ctrl+Shift+O, that can be used to toggle directory comparison based on modification time or filesize.
As for the repairing, the new version of the client lets you use custom passwords when using “anonymous” as user name and fixes TLS compatibility issues with TLS 1.2 servers. Also, if you want to build the application from source you need version 2.8.12 of wxWidgets or higher.
