The famous FTP client FileZilla has received a new round of improvements today, so all users are now recommended to deploy the latest version as soon as possible.

FileZilla 3.7.2 is supposed to fix a vulnerability in the previous builds, while also addressing some of the bugs found by users in older releases.

For example, the 3.7.2 version comes with a fix for a security vulnerability in Putty as used in Filezilla to handle SFT. At the same time, the Linux flavor got improved with updated binaries.

Of course, FileZilla continues to work not only on all Windows editions still supported by Microsoft, but also on Linux and Mac OS X, so make sure you deploy the update as soon as possible.
