Apparently, Pasen was the first company that thought about using the iTouch name for one of its available products. After that, the mighty Apple decided to adapt the same name to one of the items from its portfolio.

But it seems that the fellows from Pasen have not dropped the brand name for good, as they are about to launch another media player with about the same name. They are going to call the player iTouch SE, and not iTouch as it was expected.

As for the appearance of the device, the design of the portable media player is 100% different from other players. On the outside, the player's screen size remains of about 2.83 inches and the resolution is still a QVGA one with a 260k color support. It's a good thing they have done some improvements in the aesthetics, by removing the three metallic buttons below and replacing them with a dimple-whatever that is.

Apart from the Apple's device, the Pasen item doesn't include any Microsoft PlayFX, nor the usual FM tuner. Sharing of the media content is also possible via the built-in external speaker, while the easy file transfer uses USB 2.0 interface. Too bad there is no official word on the internal storage capacity storage, but the makers included a Transflash slot card for an extra boos anyway.

And when it comes to the player's capabilities, they are going to do a bunch of stuff, such as dealing with a lot of popular file formats in the industry, such as MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, BMP, AVI, JPEG, DivX, not to mention the extra capability of acting as an independent e-book reader, decoding TXT files. So the specs list looks quite good. If it matters in any way, extra options mention something about an additional FM tuner you might want to switch on, when pausing the music.

Sadly, it seems to be way too soon for an official price tag. How about that, Apple?
