Fight The Dragon, a hack'n slash RPG developed and published by the 3 Sprockets studio, will be released on Steam for Linux on March 28.

Fight The Dragon is a very interesting game because it proposes a new concept attached to the hack'n slash genre, which is user-generated content. The game is still in the Early Access Game program, but that is about to change in a few hours.

“Players can play single player, local split-screen (2 players) or online multiplayer (4 players) to complete 10-15 minute adventures in a non-linear order, which allows players to jump in for a quick fix or play multiple adventures over longer play sessions. Collect loot, level up, conquer enemies and become a master adventurer!” reads the official website.

The developer says that gamers will be able to play their own adventures and share them with other users. Fight The Dragon features local drop-in and split-screen co-op sessions and Dragon Fights with special dragon loot.

The Linux system requirements are also quite tame: at least an Ubuntu operating system, Intel i3+ or equivalent processor, 1 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA video card (will not work with ATI), and 200 MB of available HDD space.

Check the official website for more details about the game.
