Fight Night Champion has been out for a few weeks now, and EA Sports has already decided to detail some of the downloadable content it will release for the fighting game this week.

Fight Night Champion introduces a brand new control mechanic, called the Full Spectrum Punch, and, so far, has managed to attract a big number of fans.

Now, in order to keep things fresh, EA Sports, its publisher, has decided to release some new downloadable content for the boxing game, complete with new fighters, a bare knuckle boxing mode and a special alternate weight class pack, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions of the game.

The biggest DLC pack is called the Heavyweight Legends, and includes 5 of the all-time greatest boxers in the sport's history, Rocky Marciano, Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis and Floyd Patterson.

If you want to buy each boxer individually, it will cost you 160 MS Points or $2, but if you get them as a pack, you'll be spending 800 MS Points or $10, and you'll also receive the Bare Knuckle Boxing pack for free.

For those who don't care about the new fighters and just want to get some bare knuckle fighting action, you can get the pack for just 320 MS Points or $4, so check out more details about it below.

DLC: Bare Knuckles Boxing Pack
-Bare Knuckle Offline Play Now
-Play against opponent with traditional rules or choose the new Old School Rules.
-Old School Rules mimics the way people used to box before the establishment of the Marques’s of Queensbury Rules. The fight is not divided into timed rounds, instead, the boxers only return to their corners for a break when one boxer is knocked down. Also, there is no judging and the winner is determined by the last man standing. Old School Rules is only available for Offline games.
-Bare Knuckle Online Ranked/Unranked/OWC
-The usual quick play online mode. Ranked games are tracked against separate Bare Knuckles leaderboards.
-Bare Knuckle Online World Championships
-Complete with separate leaderboards, belts and awards. Bare Knuckles OWC mode allows players to climb through the ranks to become the Champ.

Not all fighters will be available for bare knuckle combat, so don't expect Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hoya, George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Ray Leonard, Evander Holyfield, Roberto Duran, Vitali Klitschko or Wladimir Klitschko to indulge in such combat.

Last but not least, Fight Night Champion owners will be able to get the Alternate Weight Class Pack, which changes the class of popular fighters. These include:

-Featherweight Manny Pacquiao
-Lightweight Manny Pacquiao
-Lightweight Oscar De La Hoya
-Middleweight Roy Jones Jr
-Middleweight Bernard Hopkins
-Welterweight Roberto Duran
-Middleweight Thomas Hearns
-Welterweight Pernell Whitaker

Each new modified boxer will cost 80 MS points or $1.

All of the aforementioned DLC will be released by EA Sports on March 29, worldwide on the Xbox Live Marketplace and on the North American PlayStation Store, and on March 30 for the European PlayStation Store.

I agree jerbear...But we're talking EA here, these guys are only out for the $$$ (which could explain why they're also getting sued left and right).

Oh, and the young George is a Dr. Pepper promotional deal (which is stupid), and can only be downloaded once you've found a correct Dr. Pepper bottle (which is stupid-er).
