Lindsay Lohan is in trouble. Her mother, on the other hand, as any other concerned parent would do, is not with her right now, making sure she gets the treatment, care and moral support she needs, but back home, talking with her daughter over the phone and, when not that, picking fights with almost anyone that crosses her path. We are talking here about Dina Lohan, the woman who dared call herself the White Oprah, and who is believed by many to be at the core of all of Lindsay's past and present troubles.
The night after Lindsay was arrested for DUI and drug possession, she was supposed to make an appearance on Jay Leno to promote her latest flick, the one that bombed this weekend at the box-office, 'I Know Who Killed Me'. Because she was taken into police custody and, upon her release, had to run and hide from the eyes of the ever-prying paparazzi, Lindsay was not able to attend Leno's show. But comedian Rob Schneider was! And, to cap it all off, he even came dressed as Lindsay, wearing a very blonde wig and a SCRAM ankle bracelet similar to the one the actress had been parading around town only days before. The result was a very funny moment, even if somehow cruel towards the object of all ridicule, Lindsay.
The very next day, Dina, Lindsay's mother and, at the same time, her most bitter spokesperson but only when issues as drugs, alcohol and underage drinking are involved (of which Lindsay did NONE), issued a statement in which she trashed both Jay Leno and the comedy skit of Schneider. 'We have a great respect for Jay Leno, but we are disappointed in the path he chose to allow a guest to make light of a very serious situation concerning Lindsay. Thank you to Craig Ferguson for not making a mockery of such a serious situation to which teens and young adults are facing across the country. - Dina and Family', were Dina's words. Naturally, the public thought that she was again speaking without being spoken to and that there would be no response to her words.
But Rob Schneider, in his opinion, did nothing wrong when he put the smackdown on Lindsay on live national TV. He only made fun of the situation and not of its protagonist per se. Today, in an interview with 'People' The Deuce fights back against Dina's accusations and, safe to say, maybe she should have thought twice before opening her mouth because what Rob has to say is not pretty at all. And, what's worse, it's even true!
'When Mrs. Lohan stops partying with her child, then I'll have an ounce of respect for her. Lindsay, get it together, America will forgive you but you gotta do something positive with your life. I hope she does okay but at a certain point, there's so many bigger problems in the world than Lindsay Lohan. I hope she gets her head out of her nice, cute little rear end and finds a life for herself. She's very talented, and a special little actress but there are so many people out there who'd trade positions with her in a heartbeat and use it better than she is.', the comedian tells the magazine.
Waiting for a reply from the Lohan camp... Stay tuned! And, to make the wait a bit easier on you, below is a clip with the Lindsay skit. Enjoy!
