They say rapper Deadlee is very popular in gay cultures. Many rap and hip-hop media outlets put him on the number one spot when it comes to his 'sexually charged and graphic music referred to as "Homohop" and "Gaynsta" rap'. That literally means that rap is no longer about who's got the biggest balls and the most chicks (like we've been taught until now) but about who's got the most offensive, controversial and sexually-explicit lyrics.
Anyway, what rap and hip-hop is really about is not our main concern here. What we're here to say is that Mr. Deadlee (why are they so uninspired when they're choosing their stage names?), real name Joseph Lee, has found the perfect way to launch himself properly on the music scene. You know that thing rappers do when they diss each other through their music? It's like 'X can suck my d**k', 'Y can go screw himself' because of that or another thing.
The real deal going down here is putting up the fiercest facade they can come up with and providing a real-life confrontation (in most cases, staged) to back up for the aggressiveness in their songs. However, Deadlee may not the man to pick a fight with household names like Eminem or 50 Cent, and we say that not taking his sexual orientation into consideration (because that would be too low).
The GAYnsta rapper, on the other hand, has no such problem when he starts shooting his mouth off about other people's sexuality or sexual preferences. Being on the verge of launching the first ever national tour for gays, lesbians and bisexuals, called the 'Homorevolution Tour 2007', which will cover 10 cities in the US, Deadlee needs some publicity. And what is the best way of getting some media attention that to go and talk s**t about someone else?

Talking about how rap excludes homosexuality as a rule, the self-titled 'Queer Bastard Child of DMX and Lil Kim' pinpointed Eminem and 50 Cent as the most bitter anti-gay musicians... while being themselves exactly that!
'Eminem was called out for his juvenile, hateful approach to homosexuality, especially in his song "Criminal" ["The Marshall Mathers" LP]. He was the biggest rapper at the time and if he used the same song as a diss to Blacks or Latinos, he would probably be dead. Eminem likes to pick on the "weak" but gay[z] ain't weak and he might be a faggot himself. He knew all the subcultures in that song.', Deadlee said of his opponent.
Then, he bravely took on 50 Cent, who once told 'Playboy' that he didn't want anything to do with homosexuals, by claiming that he too is a gay in disguise. '"F**k him. I don't like ignorant bitches around me, so he can suck my gun. He is a classic man who had Homo-feelings and chooses to lash out because he is afraid he might act out on his true feelings. 50 Cent has deep rooted homosexual tendencies.', the rapper explained.
While Deadlee does make a strong point when stating that the other two are very anti-gay in their lyrics, isn't what he's doing right now the same thing? Does pointing a finger mean for Deadlee 'doing the right thing' for homosexuals?
