Ferrari Sells Its Video Game Rights

From now on, everyone who would like to use a Ferrari car or the name of the Ferrari brand has to ask permission from 10Tacle studios. They have recently signed a licensing agreement with the Italian manufacturer.

This agreement will allow 10Tacle studios to use the Ferrari cars and brand name
too in their video game development. Maybe we will soon see an all-Ferrari racing game, and I bet it will be an exquisite one.

10Tacle studios is a development studio that has quite some experience in developing racing games, as they previously handled Michael Schumacher Worldtour Kart. Yeah, the same guy who raced for the Ferrari F1 team.

Ferrari is probably the best car manufacturer around, as they have quite a lot of experience. At first, they were dedicated to manufacturing race cars, as they did from 1929 to 1946 when they took up street vehicles.

Enzo Ferrari, the company's founder, sold the company to Fiat back in 1969 due to financial trouble but he retained possession of the Ferrari racing division until he passed away in 1988.

The most recent Ferrari street car is the 599 GTB Fiorano-known as the F139. It is meant to replace the 575M Maranello and it was first unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show.
