Cupertino’s web store filled with attractive gifts from third party companies

Apple is getting its holiday spirit on a bit early this year, and there are quite a few attractive options over at store.apple.com, starting with one Bluetooth remote-control Ferrari car that knocks the socks off any competing product.

Skipping the usual holiday gift choices like the AirPlay-enabled audio accessories, the protective cases / sleeves for iDevices, and the creative-tools (like mics and professional headphones), I’d like to point your attention to the way cooler things Apple has on offer this holiday season - TOYS!

I swear if I was a kid again I’d do everything in my power to convince Santa Mom to get me this red hot Silverlit Interactive Bluetooth Remote Control Enzo Ferrari Car that goes with its very own Remote Control app.

Of course, I’d first need an iPhone or iPod touch to ‘drive’ it - and we didn’t have these back when I was a kid - but nevermind all that! Is this thing the coolest RC car or what?

Forget those two-way mechanical thumb-sticks! You lucky 21st century kids now get to control your RC car via a multi-touch interface thanks to this app developed by Silverlit Toys Manufactory which lets you tilt to drive forward, backward, left, and right.

You get full gesture control—not just virtual joysticks, and a fully interactive Ferrari dashboard with engine revving sounds and vibrating motor. The car’s lights, horn, and gauge dials can be controlled with a tap of the finger.

And it’s got the right marketing lines to make any 7-year old start convulsing: “The Silverlit R/C Car is designed to run like no other—using the power of your iPad, iPod touch, or iPhone as the remote control. Nothing else comes this close to the experience of actually driving a car. The power is in your hands.”

Apple, I’m sold! You can now submit those time machine patents you’re secretly working on.
