Sarah 'Fergie' Ferguson has often been compared by many (especially by the celebrity rags and bloggers) to a man, mainly because of her rather masculine facial traits. Even more, some went as far as to compare her to a transsexual, even if their views bordered on slander. Without claiming that they were in the right, Fergie's last statement comes to show that at least she has one thing in common with what they were saying about her: she admitted that she had many (like, many, many!) lesbian relationships.
As I was telling you a couple of days ago, the premiere of a new movie or the launching of a new album is just the perfect opportunity for celebrities to 'open up' and start talking about the most intimate details of their personal past life. Fergie is no exception: she is now starring in Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's gorefest 'Grindhouse' and, even if her part is minor (to say the least), the 'Fergalicious' singer feels the need to share with the rest of the world her sexual experiences with other women and how that helped her get in 'character'. No one's complaining about it, of course...
So, Fergie plays a lesbian in 'Grindhouse' and, she says, the fact that she used to know women better (if you know what I'm saying) helped her a lot with the way she played her character. Naturally, now she's straight because she's engaged to the hotness that is Josh Duhamell, so I can't say I blame her. Plus, she's no longer a meth addict, so that helps too...
The singer said in a recent interview that her life changed all of a sudden when she turned 18 and began to rebel against the Catholic upbringing she received from her parents. 'I have had lesbian experiences in the past. But I started having sex quite late on - after I was 18. I was raised a good Catholic girl. I won't say how many men I have slept with, although it's not many, but I am a very sexual person.', she told the media.
But that's not all that Fergie had to say about her past lifestyle: apparently, immediately after that and also as a consequence of her 'rebellious' act, she was drawn into the LA underground life and she became a drug addict and dealer. Until one day, when she went through a near-death experience that literally opened her eyes to the way things stood.
'When I was going through my out-of-control phase, I could have got into some very dangerous situations. But I never sold my body - ever. [Once] I had a gun put to my head during a drug deal that went wrong. Luckily I got out of it.', Fergie explained. While we can't go but 'phew! thank God she got out OK and still breathing', there is still one thing that troubles me: are you too thinking of a 18-year-old Fergie dressed in a Catholic school girl uniform, making out with another girl? If you are, then maybe Josh should take a hint and make their relationship more 'open'... Just kiddin', of course. No one wants to see that...
