Celebrity-endorsed fashion is the latest rage these days and we can hardly walk into a fashion store or browse the Internet for the latest designs without being bombarded with ads for the latest Paris Hilton shoes, Mischa Barton bags and so on. Indeed, it has become quite hard to keep track of who is endorsing what for how long, but if you're into celebrity fashion, there's (more) good news: singer Stacey Ferguson, known to us mortals as the energetic, back flipping Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas and not only, has signed a deal with Brown Shoe and is coming out with her namesake shoe brand.

"I have always loved fashion because it's a great way to express your mood. And I'm definitely a shoe lover", Fergie confessed. "The right pair of shoes can change the feel of an outfit, and even change how a woman feels about herself. A woman can wear confidence on her feet with a high stiletto, or slip into weekend comfort with a soft ballet flat", she added. For those of you dying to partake in the singer's unique, funky and occasionally outrageous sense of fashion, the Fergie shoe collection is set to be released in Spring 2009 - however, retailers will apparently be given a little peek into the designs next month, at the June 2008 Fashion Footwear Association of New York shoe show.

"We envision the Fergie consumer as a woman who is chic and fashionable, loves to wear the latest trends, and looks for distinctive details when shopping for shoes to add to her already considerable collection - much like Fergie herself", stated Gary Rich, Wholesale President for Brown Shoe. "Women around the globe know and love Fergie for her music and her bold style. Through this footwear partnership, we can establish another way for Fergie to connect with her fans", he added.
