Stacy Ferguson, or Fergie as she’s known in the music industry, is the closest thing to the ideal fitness pupil. She trains regularly up to two hours a day, and never misses a workout, even when on tour. Recently, Fergie had to double her efforts as she had to lose the weight she gained for a movie role – and the results are already obvious, as photos taken on her latest hike in Beverly Hills clearly show.

Accompanied by her personal trainer, Fergie kept it cool in an all-black outfit and large headphones. She took her usual hike accompanied by her personal trainer, who seemed similarly not unnerved by the long walk. In all fairness, it has been pointed out, with legs as muscular and toned as Fergie’s, this recent hike was probably just a light workout for the star famous for her rippled abs and dedication to staying in shape.

As noted above, just recently, the singer gained a few pounds for a role in an upcoming movie. As shooting came to an end and her wedding date drawing near (she was married to “Transformers” star Josh Duhamel in January), the star started doubling her hours in the gym and outdoors to shake off the extra weight. In the end, one can only say it all paid off rather nicely.

Fergie is known for her dedication to keeping fit, but this does take up a lot of time of her already busy schedule. In most interviews, the singer admits to being somewhat of a gym freak, with almost two hours of her every day going towards keeping fit. According to various reports in the media, her favorite workouts include running uphill on the treadmill and hiking, both of which ensure she is never snapped in one of those “compromising” positions with cellulite showing on her legs or thighs.

“She really cares about her arms. For her legs she [uses] barely any weight, so we do rubber bands for intensity, jump rope, running, and do some glutes workout. For upper body we use weights and she likes to work out with lighter weights (1.5-2.5kg dumbbells) at higher repetitions.” trainer Natasha Kufa, who also works with Fergie, said in an interview a while back. This, combined with hiking, ensure that the star works all her muscle groups and ends up looking as fabulous as she is now.
