Probably people will never get bored of saving the world from alien invasions, evil scientists, interplanetary attacks and other similar fantasy things. Also, people will never get bored of being superheroes with superpowers in a super-world (that needs to be saved). Well, in this game, you will be a not-very-classic superhero: you will be a tortoise that looks like a combination between Leonardo from the Ninja Turtles, Batman and a fluffy teddy
bear.

"Spike Dash" is this game's name, developed by Riverplay Games and distributed for PC only. It's a classic platform game, wrapped up in a 3D environment across ancient worlds. And you're a tortoise... Not any tortoise, but an alien one. You'll have to save the world (of course) from a secret evil plot planned by... our hero's own brother! You weren't expecting that, were you? Neither were we.

Saving the world is not an easy job, anyway, so there will always be a countdown-timer to tell you how much time you have left to finish one level. And you'll do so by jumping around, defeating enemies and collecting 4 special stars, with each star containing universal elements such as fire, water, wind and earth that will open a special portal to the next level. And so on, and so forth.

The game has a graduate difficulty setting, meaning that, during the lasts scenes of your adventure, you will have more enemies and less time to complete the level. But Spike Dash promises to be a simple yet effective game, with an easy to learn gameplay and controls. However, you should start playing it when you have some time to spare, since Spike Dash comes with no save points. Just the "save the world" option, and that should be enough for the super hero in you!
